Moving Forward with Hope on the Horizon

Moving Forward with Hope on the Horizon

This last month has been tough. Being in a season of healing has been a test of patience, trust, and surrender. But as I near the end of my pause, I find myself reflecting on something important—HOPE.

Hope is what keeps us moving forward, even when the road feels long. Hope is what gives us strength when we're weak, and light when things feel dark. And the beautiful thing about hope is it's not based on circumstances. It's based on God's promises.

When we go through difficult seasons—whether it's healing from surgery, facing challenges in business, or struggling with discouragement, it's easy to feel like things will never change. But God reminds us over and over again that HE is faithful.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23

God's promises don't waiver. His faithfulness isn't dependent on how we feel today. No matter how uncertain or hard this season is or will be, we can trust that He is working things out for GOOD.

I have some reminders for you to cling onto when you enter into a season where hope feels too hard to hold onto.

  • God's timeline isn't ours. Just because we don't see things moving, doesn't mean He isn't working.
  • The waiting isn't wasted. Every season (especially the hard ones), shapes us in ways we can't see yet.
  • God's promises still stand. No matter what you're facing, His love, His provision, and HIs plans for you remain true.
  • Joy does come in the morning. It may not be tomorrow, but eventually, it does come.

As I start looking ahead to getting back into my work, my business, and my creative projects, I'm carrying this lesson with me: I don't have to see the whole picture to trust the One who holds it it in the palms of His hands.

Maybe you're in a waiting season or struggling to believe that things will get better. If that is true for you, I want to encourage you toay that hope is on the horizon.

Hold on. Keep going. God isn't finished yet.

I believe in you, Shonda Ramsey
