Tami J Gray - The Brief

In collaboration with Tami J Gray, we unearthed a calm and warm brand identity with vintage flair. This style complemented her coaching and aligned with her message of faith, while also staying true to her personality. Tami also collaborated with me on her impactful book, Fearlessly Unbecoming, where I contributed by designing a bold cover and formatting the interior to reflect her powerful story.

Brand Identity & Logo Design

Tami J Gray's brand combines elements from various artists. Her tattoo artist designed the roadrunner, and I recolored it to match her final brand color palette. I created vintage inspired patterns and paired it with a vintage typewriter clipart to tie it all together. We went with a three font typography strategy. The main type is bold in statement, the accented font is a soft and subtle script, and the body font is a sans serif font.

Trusting the process

Tami put in extra hard work to get to the heart of her brand with the help of my workbooks used in brand coaching. By spending time in prayer and reflection, she could answer the questions in the workbook in a way that gave me the direction I needed to pull it all together.
